*I don't currently carry boot heaters for sale, but am happy to install what you bring. I highly recommend the ones by Therm-ic or Hotronic. There are more affordable versions of the ones I linked, with the differences being in battery life and features.
**A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE 1.5HR BOOT FIT:
This is an on-the-spot all-inclusive visit, starting with a consultation, checking stance alignment, and doing one or two actions on the gear. As a returning customer, we can do three to four actions with the time. This assumes you already think something needs to be done to your gear, and you want to wait for it, or at least set aside some time to try out tweaks in the shop. You can make back to back appts if you think it's necessary. This is great for couples wanting to knock it all out in one go!
No, I'm not very strict about the timing. I still encourage chit chat, and appreciate the flexibility and understanding during peak season when appointments will be running over their scheduled times. The reason for the cost premium with this service is the on-the-spot benefit, which means I agree to majorly solve some problems while sending your gear home, THAT DAY. Sometimes, plastic just needs some patience to set right.
If we finish in less than 1.5 hours, I will discount the appointment accordingly.
After 1.5 hours is up, if the next appointment is already there, I reserve the right to cut the current appointment off, at which point we can decide whether to ski it or leave the gear overnight.
If we go over 2 hours, depending on the circumstances, it will be considered a special case appointment, and continue @$100/hr.
If, during the consultation, we decide a custom insole is necessary, it will turn into a consultation + custom insole appointment. Because proper alignment and stability is most important, we want to finish that process before identifying boot problems. At the end, we will plan whether to leave the boots to be worked on, or make another appointment.
